ImpactHack 2023 by Standard Chartered was a 48-hour hybrid hackathon held from 16 to 18 June. The event brought together over 350 working professionals and tertiary students across 100 teams to tackle digitalisation challenges faced by SMEs. The Grand Final on 24 June featured the top 10 teams presenting their refined solutions to a distinguished panel of judges. The judges included industry leaders such as Sammeer from Standard Chartered Malaysia, Ahmad Irsyad Kamaruzaman from MDEC, Mohamad Johan Nasir from NFT Pangolin, Aaron Sarma from ScaleUp Malaysia, and Afnizanfaizal Abdullah from MRANTI.
Team DoBetter emerge as the winner with their innovative solution. However, V-Cred, also notable and secured the runner-up position. V-Cred’s solution focused on providing financial services to underserved communities, aiming to bridge the gap in financial inclusion.
Overall, ImpactHack 2023 showcased the innovative spirit and technical prowess of its participants, highlighting the importance of technology in solving real-world business challenges.
